After the final crit 2 days ago, I have made as many changes as I could in the time frame. As suggested, I have tried to lean into the ‘cultishness’ further by converting the instructions into more cult language using ChatGPT. My project initially started out as a cult being formed through the collaboration of myself and AI, but deviated from that for various reasons, and now seems to have come full circle back to that. The cultish language has made the instructions more complex to read and understand, so hopefully this doesn’t hinder the user experience too much. I have not had time to test this.

I have now also made the video for the full journey of the experience. It is almost 18 minutes long, which is very long, but for how many platforms it covers, I feel it isn’t too bad. The 3D website does seem unnecessary at the moment without other cult member to add objectives, so this perhaps could have been removed.

Other feedback from the final crit was to perhaps lean away from the 8 objectives, and into the idea of having to show devotion throughout. Had I had more time, I would have perhaps added voices says ‘prove your devotion’ every now and then through the whole experience. This is something I can do in the future, but for now, I have added text saying ‘not devoted enough, try again’ when someone dies in the trash sorting game, or the quiz game. This further connects these two parts of the experience.

I now need to read through my thesis for errors and if certain things need rephrasing, condensing or expansion, and then the submission will be ready.
